Baked Chicken & Potatoes

 

Features

British non-vegetarian dish. Served as main course

 

Ingredients  (Click here for measurement conversion)

Fryer - 1, 3-4 lb, cut into serving pieces

Potatoes - 6, peeled and quartered

Tomatoes - 1, crushed

Parsley - 2 Tablespoons

Basil - 1 teaspoon

Garlic - 2 cloves, minced

Salt - to taste

Pepper - to taste

Grated Parmesan cheese - 25 gm

Vegetable oil - 3 Tablespoons

 

Method

  • Wash chicken and wipe up it dry with the help of paper towel.

  • Pour adequate oil in a large roasting pan to cover full base of the pan.

  • Put chicken pieces in pan and then place potatoes in between the chicken pieces.

  • Add tomatoes, parsley, basil, garlic, salt and pepper over chicken and potatoes.

  • Finally, spray with the grated cheese and the oil.

  • Bake in 375 degree F oven for about 75 min, or until chicken becomes dark brown.
