Chicken Pate

 

Features

British non-vegetarian dish. Served as main course

 

Ingredients  (Click here for measurement conversion)

Chicken breasts - 3, boneless and skinless

Onions - 0.5 cup, finely chopped

Whipped cream cheese - 1

mayonaise - 0.25 cup

paprika - 0.5 teaspoon

sherry - 0.25 cup

Cayenne pepper - 0.5 teaspoon

Lemon juice - squeezed from 1 lemon

 

Method

  • Cook chicken breasts in boiling water for 30 - 45 minutes.

  • Leave them aside to cool down.

  • Slice the chicken into cubes.

  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl.

  • Grease the inside of a small loaf pan.

  • Place mixture into the pan.

  • Refrigerate for at least 8 hours.

  • Serve with crackers.
