Spicy Salmon

Salmon portions - 4

Cajun seasoning - as needed

Oil - little amount

 

Method

  • Rinse salmon and pat dry using kitchen paper.

  • Dust all sides of salmon with cajun seasoning.

  • Heat oil, sear salmon on all sides for 1/2 minute.

  • Reduce heat and continue to cook in pan for 8 minutes.

  • Alternatively transfer salmon to a baking tray.

  • Then place in pre-heated oven (200 C or 400 F or Gas 5) for 8 minutes.

  • Serve with baked or boiled potatoes, vegetables or choice of salad.
