Corned Beef Fritters

 

Features

British non-vegetarian dish. Served as main course

 

Ingredients  (Click here for measurement conversion)

Corned Beef – 225 gm, cut into slices 1cm thick

Plain Flour – 50 gm

Egg - 1, beaten

Milk – 2 Tablespoons

Salt – to taste

Pepper – to taste

Oil – as required for frying

 

Method

  • Mix together the flour, egg, milk, salt and pepper and beat to form smooth batter.

  • Heat the oil in a pan.

  • Dip the slices of corned beef into the batter and fry on both sides until crisp.

  • Drain on kitchen towel and serve with mashed potato and vegetables of your choice.
