Honey Glossed Ham

British non-vegetarian dish. Served as main course

 

Ingredients  (Click here for measurement conversion)

Boneless Ham - 1.8 to 2 kg, completely cooked

Lemon-lime soda - 350 gm

Honey - 55 ml or 1/4 cup

Mustard - 0.5 teaspoon

Cloves - 0.5 teaspoon, ground

Cinnamon - 0.5 teaspoon, ground

 

Method

  • Put ham and lemon-lime soda into a crock pot.

  • Cover it and cook on low temperature for 6 to 8 hours (high 3 to 4 hours).

  • Combine honey, mustard, cloves, and cinnamon 30 minutes before serving.

  • Also add 3 Tablespoons drippings from bottom of crock pot.

  • Spread glaze over ham and continue cooking.

  • Allow to stand for 15 minutes before serving.

  • Serve hot.
