Bread Rolls

 

Features

Microwave only, Vegetarian dish, Served as Snacks

 

Ingredients  (Click here for measurement conversion)

Bread - 4 slices

Potatoes - 200 gm

Green chillies - 2, finely chopped

Coriander leaves - 2 Tablespoons

Garam Masala - ½ teaspoon

Chaat Masala - ½ teaspoon

Salt - to taste

Black pepper - ½ teaspoon

Oil - little

 

Method

  • Prick the potatoes using a knife or fork.

  • Place them in a microwave-safe bowl and add 1 cup of water.

  • Cover the bowl and microwave at high power (100%) for 8 min.

  • Allow to stand for 3-4 minutes.

  • Peel the potatoes and mash them.

  • Mix chillies, coriander, garam masala, chat masala, salt and black pepper with potatoes.

  • Take bread slices one at a time and soak in water. Squeeze to drain excess water.

  • Place some filling along the centre of each bread and roll it into cylindrical shape.

  • Brush the bread rolls with oil and place on a greased microwave-safe plate at high rack for 20 minutes.

  • Turn the rolls in between to grill the rolls uniformly on all sides.

  • The uncooked rolls can be stored in refrigerator and grilled before serving.

  • Serve hot with any chutney or sauce or dip.
