Ingredients for "Arepas De Maiz" (Click here for measurement conversion) 2 1/2 cups Cornflour
1 1/2 cups All-purpose Flour
1 Egg
1 Tablespoon Vanilla
1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
1/2 cup Sugar
Salt
1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
2-3 cups warm Water (or Milk)
Method for "Arepas De Maiz"
Mix all powder ingredients. Add eggs and water or milk until mixture is creamy and sticks to spoon. Let mixture cool for 2-3 hrs Shape them as balls and fry in hot oil until golden.
