Features for "Baked Clams"
Appetizer. Served before main meal. Non-vegetarian.
Ingredients for "Baked Clams" (Click here for measurement conversion) 48 little-neck Clams
1.5 cups Bread crumbs
4 cloves Garlic, minced
4 tablespoons roasted Peppers, minced
4 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon Oregano
Method for "Baked Clams"
First clean clams. Pry them open with a butter knife (it is a safer option than steak knife). Cut out the clam and reserve in bowl. Save one side of the clam shell for serving. In a small bowl combine bread crumbs, garlic, peppers, oil and oregano. Mix well. Chop up all the clams into small pieces. Mix them with other ingredients and spoon mixture into clams shells. Place clams on large cookie sheet and bake for about 10 minutes. Please make sure before placing clam back into shell that they are thoroughly cleaned.
