Features for "Bubble & Squeak"
Non-vegetarian dish. Served as main course. Speciality – Wheat free, Egg less, Gluten free
Ingredients for "Bubble & Squeak" (Click here for measurement conversion) Butter – 25 gm
Onion - 1, chopped
Potatoes – 450 gm, cooked and mashed
Cabbage – 225 gm, cooked and chopped
Beef - 4-6 sliced, cooked and chopped
Salt – to taste
Pepper – to taste
Method for "Bubble & Squeak"
Melt the butter in a large frying pan. Add the onion and sauté gently for 5-6 minutes until soft, stirring from time to time. Add the potatoes, cabbage, beef, salt and pepper. Continue to fry for 15 minutes at medium heat. Stir them from time to time, until browned and crispy. Serve immediately.
