3 teaspoons Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Salt
1/4 cup Shortening
1 cup Milk
3 Tablespoons chopped fresh Chives or Parsley or 1/2 teaspoon Bell's Poultry Seasoning
Method for "A 1 Savory Dumplings"
Sift dry ingredients. Add one of the seasonings. Add milk to make a stiff dough.When stew is close to being done, drop by small teaspoonsful into bubbling stew. Simmer 10 minutes uncovered.
