Features for "Health Bread"

Ingredients for "Health Bread" (Click here for measurement conversion) 2 cup All-purpose Flour
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Baking powder
1/3 cup Sugar (white)
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
2 cup Ground quick cooking Rolled Oats
1/2 cup Molasses
2 Tablespoon Melted shortening
2 cup Sour Milk
1 cup Raisins
Method for "Health Bread"
Sift the first five ingredients together. Add the oats, molasses, melted shortening and milk. Mix thoroughly and add the raisins. Pour into a large greased loaf pan. Let it set for 20 minutes then bake about 1 hour at 350 degree F.
