2 cups of Milk
1/2 cup of Butter, melted
2 teaspoon of Vanilla
2-3 drops Oil of Anise
6 Eggs
1 Yeast Cake
1 1/2 cup of Sugar
1 Tablespoon of Salt
3 red dyed Easter Eggs, uncooked
Sesame Seeds
Flour




Method for "Lambropsomo Easter Bread"

Dissolve yeast in 1 cup cooled scalded milk. Add 1 cup flour and melted butter. In large bowl, combine eggs, sugar, 1 cup milk, salt, vanilla and oil of anise. Add enough flour to make a soft dough. Knead well and let rise until twice its size. Punch down and let rise again. Shape into 3 round loaves and place on greased baking sheets. Place a red egg in top center of each loaf. Sprinkle sesame seeds on tops and bake at 350ºF. for 1 hour.
