Mango Chutney recipe

Served as an accompaniment. A cuisine from West Bengal (eastern India). Durga Puja special recipe.


Ingredients for "Mango Chutney"   (Click here for measurement conversion)

Raw mango - 3
Coriander leaves - 1 bunch
Green chillies - 8
Coconut - 4 pieces
Cumin seeds - 1½ Tablespoons
Garlic - 6 cloves
Salt - ¾ teaspoon
Sugar - 1½ teaspoons




Method for "Mango Chutney"

Peel the mangoes and remove the seeds. Blend mangoes, coriander leaves, chillies, coconut, cumin and garlic in a mixer. Mix the ingredients until a smooth paste is obtained. Add salt and sugar gradually to the mixer while blending. Store in a clean glass jar.
