Features for "Egg Rice"
Rice item, served as main course, suitable for vegetarians
Ingredients for "Egg Rice" (Click here for measurement conversion) Basmati Rice: 500 gm
Egg - 6
Butter or Ghee - 100 gm
Spring Onion - 60 gm
Black pepper - 10 gm
Cloves - 7
Cardamom - 1 small piece
Salt - to taste
Method for "Egg Rice"
Boil the rice with cardamom, salt and black pepper added to it. Chop the spring onions and fry in butter or ghee. Beat the eggs and add to the butter or ghee. Mix the fried stuff with rice thoroughly. It is preferable to shake the pan and mix, rather than using a spoon. Keep the pan on low heat while mixing. Remove the rice from heat once done. Serve hot with any Indian vegetarian or non-vegetarian dish.
