2 Onions, chopped
4 cups Water
2 teaspoons Cornflour, dissolved in a little cold Water
2 Tablespoons Grated Cheese
2 Tablespoons Butter
Salt to taste




Method for "Pyaz ka Soup (Onion Soup)"

Heat the butter in a pan. Add the chopped onions and saute on low heat for 8 minutes or till they are well browned. Add the water, grated cheese and salt. Bring to boil on medium heat. Add the cornflour and simmer on low heat for 4 minutes. Top with a dash of grated cheese just before serving. Serve hot with fried bread pieces.
