Ingredients (Measurement Conversion Calculator) Turmeric powder - 0.25 teaspoon
Methi or Fenugreek seeds - 1 teaspoon
Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
Tomato - 1 medium, chopped
Salt - to taste
Red chillies - 2
Garlic - 1 clove, chopped
Potato - 2 medium, peeled and diced into medium size pieces
Oil - 2 Tablespoons
Directions
In oil fry garlic till they start to turn brown. Add cumin seeds and red chilli to the oil. After few seconds, add the chopped tomato and rest of the spices. When the tomatoes turn tender, add the potatoes. When the potatoes are half done, add methi and cook till water dries up. Cook throughout on low heat. Remove from heat when the potatoes are fully cooked. Serve hto with plain white rice or chapati.
