Ingredients (Measurement Conversion Calculator) Green peas - 0.5 cup
Garlic - 2 cloves, finely chopped
1-inch Cinnamon stick - 1
Tomatoes - 2
Bay leaves - 2
Chili powder - 1 Tablespoon
Coriander leaves - 2 Tablespoons, chopped
Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
Potatoes - 2 medium, cubed
Turmeric - 0.5 Tablespoon
Turmeric powder - 0.5 Tablespoon
Salt - to taste
Water - 1.25 cups
Clove - 2
Garam Masala - 1 Tablespoon
Ghee or Oil - 5 Tablespoons
Coriander powder - 0.5 Tablespoon
Directions
Heat ghee and saute onion and garlic over medium heat till golden. Add cloves, bay leaves and cinnamon. Stir fry for 2 minutes. Add garam masala, chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, tomatoes and salt. Mix well. Add potatoes and peas. Pour in water and bring to a boil. Lower heat, cover the pan and simmer gently for 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are done. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
